For the first two weeks in February, Klip was in Miami Beach during the Super Bowl creating the above installation for Motorola. This spot is the product of lots of sweat and blood after a location change 6 days before project launch. We were on a plane to Florida with no idea where we were [...]
Check out our new buddies Memory Tapes from Philadelphia. This duo is traveling the globe with custom visuals from Klip Collective. The footage was shot at Making Time in February 2010.
In December 2009, Alice’s White Rabbit stormed New York City on city streets, in popular websites like YouTube and Twitter, and on building facades at night. Hired by Fallon in Minneapolis to develop the Alice Campaign for the SyFy Channel, Klip transported the White Rabbit character from the TV screen to digital form. Shot on [...]
As promised, here is the documentation of Klip Collective’s video installation at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. As you’ll see in the video, we used video mapping technology to transform a foam mold of the 2011 M into a moving, 3D illusion. Enjoy!
We’re just back from the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and we could not be happier with our installation. The long hours and hard work definitely paid off. We’re working on editing our own documentation of the installation. Since there was great press coverage of the event, we found the above video to share.
Also, check out [...]
Here at Klip Collective, we couldn’t be happier that Spring has finally arrived. With the warmer weather, our phones are ringing and our calendar is heating up. To celebrate the arrival of sunshine, here is a video of an installation we did in a clawfoot bathtub.
Ricardo did his first tub installation back in 2000 for [...]
While doing some much needed spring cleaning of my desk, I went through some old tapes and found this video of projections I did for Shepard Fairey in 2001. It is amazing to think about how far guerrilla projections have come since then.
Some background to this video begins with me meeting Shepard through Logan Hicks [...]
I am really excited to have a short film playing at the Sundance Film Festival this year. I hate to miss it because I have had so much fun in the past but I have decided to stay home with my new baby daughter.
The story behind this film starts at last year’s festival where I [...]
For the 2008 holiday season, Klip Collective created this one of a kind video installation using a Christmas tree, gift boxes and one projector. To compose the installation, Soulwax’s remix of “A Fifth of Beethoven” by Walter Murphy & The Big Apple Band led the synchronization of lights, color and the dancing Santa Claus.
For the first two weeks in February, Klip was in Miami Beach during the Super Bowl creating the above installation for Motorola. This spot is the product of lots of sweat and blood after a location change 6 days before project launch. We were on a plane to Florida with no idea where we were projecting, but thanks to a top-notch local production team led by Jennifer Friedman and the hard work of our Installation Designer, Josh James, we got a better location and therefore, a better installation.
We also worked with Bill from Egwrk, our programming genius, and were hired by Anomaly out of New York.
